This is the process I learned and have curated over the last year with many materiality explorations. My process is based in getting to know the setting or design intend that is behind the each design, they all belong to a certain area in the space and have adjacent product with particular finishes with certain amount of them, for example, if the hero product is the table and the top is a Marble slab, I make sure this is the story I'm telling with the moodboard. They all have different intents.
